Audit Senior\n\nJob specification\n\nLocation - Manchester (Hybrid Working)\n\nSalary - £45-£55k\n\nJob Summary\n\nPlanning and performing, audit testing, and completing external audits of small and medium sized companies and charities\n\nTraining, supervising, and reviewing the work of assistants\n\nSupporting and reporting to the manager\n\nPreparation of financial statements for charities, and small and medium sized companies as part of the audit engagement if desired\n\nPreparation of corporation tax calculations if desired\n\nAd-hoc assignments as necessary. This may include working for other MC offices, FDD, cashflow forecasts etc.\n\nDesired skills\n\nAt least least 12 - 24 months’ experience in a similar role\n\nACA or ACCA qualified\n\nStrong communication skills and confident in speaking to clients, managers, and assistants\n\nExperience in using CCH Accounts Production, CCH Audit Automation, and Alphatax. Preferred but not essential, as full training will be given\n\nAttention to detail, and technical ability\n\nA desire to learn and develop skills\n\nBenefits\n\nExperience of working on clients of varying sizes across a broad range of sectors\n\nVaried range of work types\n\nIn-house training on all aspects of the work provided\n\nFlexible hybrid working.

This is to be agreed between the manager and the employee\n\nSalary dependent on experience\n\n25 days annual leave
