Auto Electrician/Electrical Engineer/Vehicle Technician

Hours: 40 hours Monday to Friday

£13-£15p/h dependant on experience
Duties and responsibilities:
* Production & installation of wiring looms and control panels * Installation of various automotive accessories such as reverse alarms/sensors, beacons, camera systems * Reading wiring diagrams/schematics * Maintain cleanliness of immediate work area * Assisting in other departments as required * Ensure health & safety requirements are met * Learn a range of jobs within manufacturing * Be prepared to respond to changing business needs e.g. requirement to work overtime * Go out on the road demonstrating different products and installations at customers sites * Increase the customer base and increase installation network * Training of new installers and future team members
A Qualification in Auto Electrics, Automotive (NVQ Level 3) is preferred.
Candidates should ideally have experience with wiring components into vehicles such as trains, lorries, buses or similar. Whilst no specific qualifications are required, training in an automotive.
