Expleo is a leading Global Engineering Services Provider. We are seeking EDS Engineers to support a project delivering electrical architecture changes, to an existing commercial vehicle chassis, based in Lancashire, on a permanent or contract basis.

This role represents a great opportunity to be involved in improving an existing successful product.

Responsibilities of the EDS Engineer include:

Support delivering electrical architecture change Engineering of new routing for harness Incorporation of new Inline interface Physical mock-ups and prototype build support Consideration given to Manufacturing requirements Provisions to be made against multiple platform configurations

Skill's, qualifications and background required for the EDS Engineer role include:

Ideally Degree educated in a relevant subject matter Extensive experience in the design and development of automotive wiring harnesses Experience of Creo for electrical wire harness design / routing Understanding of wire harness manufacturing Strong knowledge of electrical safety standards and compliance Windchill PLM toolsetskills Self-sufficient, self-motivated and excellent team-player Flexible, adaptable, proactive, diplomatic attitudeand excellent communication skills Competent in the use of Microsoft Office tools - Excel, Outlook, Teams and Word
