We are seeking a skilled and motivated automotive technician/mechanic to join our established team at M D Auto Care Ltd, Rabans Close, Aylesbury, HP19 8RS. A normal day will involve servicing, diagnosing, and repair work on a variety of vehicle makes and models, ensuring customers receive safe, high-quality, and professional workmanship.
This role is ideal for a qualified technician who takes pride in their work and thrives in a busy, team-orientated workshop.
Working Environment
We offer a friendly, supportive, and professional workplace where teamwork, trust, and quality are priorities. You will work alongside experienced technicians in a well-managed workshop focused on customer satisfaction and high standards.
Our working hours are Monday-Friday 08:00-17:00 with optional overtime / Saturdays (if applicable).
Key Responsibilities
Vehicle Servicing, Diagnostics & Repairs Diagnose faults and carry out repairs across a wide range of vehicles Complete servicing, maintenance, and mechanical repairs to a high standard Ensure all work is completed efficiently, safely, and in line with quality standards
Customer & Team Collaboration Provide clear technical information to the service manager. Support a positive customer experience through quality workmanship Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain workshop efficiency
Workshop Standards Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment Use tools and equipment responsibly.
Training & Development Keep technical knowledge up to date with modern vehicle systems Participate in training and development as required
About You
Essential Strong mechanical skills High attention to detail and pride in workmanship Strong communication and teamwork skills Reliable, professional, and committed Full UK driving licence
Desirable Experience working in a busy garage
