About the Role
This is an outstanding opportunity to join
a leading international bank
as they build an exceptional team of
Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)
within their Loans function using
LoanIQ , across both
Loans Agency
and
Loans Administration . This role offers a unique chance to
cross-train across all functions and transaction types , ensuring every SME gains a comprehensive understanding of all work undertaken. This approach fosters superior knowledge, collaboration, and fluidity within and between both teams.
The team operates on a
hybrid model working
two days in the office and three days remotely .
Key Responsibilities
Manage and coordinate all aspects of loan administration for complex loan portfolios.
Provide subject matter expertise and direct support to front office teams, external lenders, and borrowers.
Support strategic firmwide and regulatory change initiatives, including technology upgrades and process enhancements.
Review and process documentation and settlements for secondary trading, credit risk insurance, and agency fee billing.
Liaise daily with stakeholders across Treasury, Finance, and Operations to ensure timely setup and settlement of obligations.
Monitor payment queues and daily controls to ensure transactions are processed accurately and efficiently.
Contribute to the development and improvement of internal processes under continuous improvement principles.
Train and mentor junior colleagues, sharing knowledge and promoting best practice across the team.
What Were Looking For
Extensive experience
in loans administration, ideally within a corporate or investment banking environment.
Strong understanding
of LoanIQ systems (or similar systems), loan funding mechanisms, and SWIFT payment processes.
Solid grasp
of operational loan documentation and market practices.
Proven ability
to work accurately under pressure, prioritising workloads to meet deadlines.
Excellent communication skills , both written and verbal, with confidence in dealing with internal and external stakeholders.
A proactive, detail-oriented mindset and a desire to challenge and improve existing processes.
