The role of AWS FinOps Specialist sits within a growing cloud capability, focused on driving cost efficiency, optimisation, and value realisation across AWS environments. This is a strategic and hands-on position, working closely with architects, engineering teams, and senior stakeholders to embed FinOps principles and influence cloud adoption at scale.

Salary of £70,000
£90,000
Hybrid working
3 days per week on site (London, Leeds, or Manchester)
Eligibility to start on SC clearance with progression to DV (including DV bonus)

What you need
Experience applying FinOps principles to optimise cloud cost and efficiency in large-scale environments
Strong knowledge of AWS services, pricing models, and cost management tooling
Proven ability to influence cloud architecture decisions with cost considerations in mind
Experience engaging with senior stakeholders and aligning cloud strategy to business objectives
Ability to build business cases and present data-driven recommendations
Strong communication skills across both technical and non-technical audiences
Eligibility for UK security clearance (must be a sole British national and willing to undergo DV clearance)
Desirable:
Experience within government, defence, or other regulated environments
Exposure to developing or shaping FinOps offerings or services
