Job Title: AWS Security Engineer

Location: London, hybrid – You will be required to go onto the London office 1-2 days per week, travel to other sites will also be a necessity. Please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.

Grade: GG09

What You’ll Be Doing

• Contribute to refinement of non-functional requirements
• Implement security best-practices and recommendations; often through the means of developed services and automation
• Facilitate an effective relationship between third party suppliers and Home Office platform teams
• Raise issues and risks appropriately
• Operate in small cross-functional engineering teams to build supportable, sustainable, and reliable services
• Create quality documentation and Jira ticket commentary

Qualifications

Completed or working towards one of the following certifications:

• CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)
• Cyber Security +
• Splunk Core Certified Power User
• Splunk Practitioner
• SSC – C03 or AWS – C03

Technical Skills

• Python (Shell Scripting)
• Splunk Queries
• AWS
