Key Responsibilities

Supporting the preparation and service of hot and cold meals Maintaining a clean, safe and hygienic kitchen environment Assisting with food preparation and basic cooking tasks Setting up the dining area and supporting lunchtime service Operating kitchen equipment safely Washing up and general kitchen cleaning duties Providing a friendly, customer‑focused service to staff

Requirements

Enhanced Child Workforce DBS check (essential - or willingness to obtain one) Previous kitchen or catering experience is beneficial but not essential Ability to work as part of a team and follow instruction Good communication skills Reliable, punctual, and committed to safeguarding children Must be available Monday to Friday
