An inclusive specialist provision in Oldham is looking to welcome a Behaviour Support Worker to its dedicated team. In this role, you'll work closely with pupils who benefit from consistent routines, positive role modelling, and individualised support strategies.

SEMH Behaviour Support Worker - Key Responsibilities
Deliver one-to-one and small group support to pupils with SEMH and behavioural needs Work closely with the class teacher to support learning activities, behaviour management, and targeted interventions Encourage positive behaviour, emotional regulation, and resilience throughout the school day Support the monitoring of pupil progress and maintain clear communication with staff and families SEMH Behaviour Support Worker - Person Specification
Previous experience supporting children or young people with SEMH or behavioural needs (education, care, or youth settings) A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to behaviour support Strong interpersonal and communication skills A sound understanding of SEMH and SEND strategies A relevant qualification in education, care, or support is advantageous but not essential SEMH Behaviour Support Worker - To Be Eligible You Must:
