We are supporting a leading global investment management organisation on a major programme of work within their front-to-back investment platform. They are looking for an experienced Bloomberg AIM SME / Technical Business Analyst to provide specialist expertise across AIM workflows, derivatives processing, and operational processes.

This role will suit someone with deep hands-on knowledge of Bloomberg AIM who is comfortable operating across both business analysis and SME consultancy , supporting operational teams and driving enhancements to the platform.

The contract is initially 9 months , fully remote, with very occasional travel to Europe for workshops if required.

• Provide subject matter expertise on Bloomberg AIM , supporting both operational workflows and system enhancements.
• Analyse and document front-to-back investment workflows , with a focus on middle-office processing and trade lifecycle management .
• Support the configuration, optimisation, and troubleshooting of AIM workflows and operational processes .
• Work closely with operations, technology, and project stakeholders to translate business requirements into AIM solutions.
• Provide hands-on support for operational teams , including covering key workflows where necessary during transition periods.
• Assist with the implementation and support of derivatives processing , including ETD and bilateral OTC instruments.
• Support integration points between Bloomberg AIM and downstream systems , ensuring accurate trade and position flows.
• Contribute to testing activities (UAT / SIT) and ensure changes are successfully delivered into production.
• Provide guidance and knowledge transfer to internal teams where required.

Experience :

• Extensive hands-on experience with Bloomberg AIM in an asset or investment management environment.
• Strong understanding of investment operations and middle-office workflows .
• Proven experience supporting or implementing ETD and OTC derivatives within AIM.
• Experience working as a Business Analyst, SME, or Consultant on AIM-related projects .
• Ability to work both strategically and hands-on , supporting operational teams when required.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to work across technology, operations, and investment teams .
• Experience working on system enhancements, platform changes, or transformation programmes is highly desirable.
