Job Title: Bodyworks / MEP Fitter - Accident Repair\n\nLocation: Croydon.\n\nPay Rate: £20 - £22 per hour (depending on experience)\n\nHours: Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 17:00\n\nEmployment Type: Full-time, Permanent\n\nAbout the Role\n\nWe are a well-established car accident repair company looking for an experienced Bodyworks / MEP Fitter to join our workshop team. This role focuses on non-engine mechanical, electrical, and body-related fitting work following accident repairs.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nRemove and refit steering, suspension, subframes, axles, and chassis components\nCarry out mechanical and electrical fitting related to body and accident damage\nAlign and refit components to manufacturer specifications\nDiagnose and repair accident-related faults (excluding engines)\nWork closely with panel beaters and painters to ensure high-quality repairs\nMaintain excellent standards of safety, workmanship, and cleanliness\nAccurately complete job cards and repair documentation \n\nCandidate Requirements\n\nProven experience as a Bodyworks Fitter / MEP Fitter or similar role\nStrong knowledge of steering, suspension, braking, and chassis systems\nExperience within a vehicle accident repair environment\nMust have own tools\nMEP qualifications beneficial\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team\nHigh attention to detail and pride in workmanship\nRelevant trade qualifications or time-served experience preferred\nFull UK driving licence preferred \n\nWhat We Offer\n\nSalary £45,000 - £50,000 (DOE)\nStable Monday to Friday working hours (08:00 - 17:00)\nLong-term role with consistent workload\nProfessional and supportive workshop environment \n\nStreamline Search is a technical recruitment agency based in Chichester, West Sussex operating across the United Kingdom.
