The role involves delivering high-quality maintenance and repair services across a commercial gas contract portfolio, ensuring full compliance with statutory regulations, contractual requirements, and service standards.
Key Responsibilities Maintenance & Service Delivery Carry out maintenance of boilers, combustion systems, and associated building services equipment across assigned sites. Complete Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive works as allocated by the Helpdesk. Deliver services in line with agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and planned/reactive maintenance schedules. Perform first-line fault diagnosis and plan remedial works as required. Identify spare parts requirements and notify the Helpdesk accordingly. Accurately complete and submit all planned and reactive maintenance documentation within required timescales.Compliance & Quality Ensure full compliance with Commercial Gas procedures and ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001 standards. Carry out all regulatory and contractual activities in accordance with the company’s Quality Management System (QMS). Adhere to best practice standards for planned, reactive, and emergency call-out maintenance. Fulfil contractual obligations on behalf of the Commercial Gas division.Health, Safety & Risk Management Complete Risk Assessments, COSHH assessments, and Manual Handling assessments for all tasks. Promote a strong culture of accident prevention and damage control. Compile and submit incident and accident reports in line with company procedures. Ensure correct use of PPE and strict adherence to safe working practices at all times.Continuous Improvement & Customer Focus Provide practical solutions to engineering challenges and identify opportunities for service improvement or additional works. Maintain professional and proactive relationships with customers, clients, and colleagues.Health & Safety Responsibilities Take reasonable care for personal health and safety and that of others. Promptly report accidents, incidents, and near misses. Comply fully with company health and safety procedures. Use work equipment only for its intended purpose and ensure appropriate training is completed. Maintain good housekeeping standards in all work areas. Do not interfere with or misuse safety equipment.
