An exciting opportunity has arisen for a detail-driven Bookkeeper & Accounts Assistant to join a growing, design-led business operating within London’s high-end residential and super-prime property sector.

The Role
You’ll play a key role in keeping the finance function running smoothly, supporting both operational and strategic activities. Responsibilities include:
* Managing day-to-day bookkeeping and financial administration
* Recording transactions accurately within accounting software
* Performing bank and card reconciliations
* Processing supplier payments and managing the purchase ledger
* Raising and issuing customer invoices
* Monitoring and chasing debtors and creditors
* Maintaining accurate and well-organised financial records
* Supporting payroll and expenses processes
* Maintaining VAT records and assisting with VAT returns
* Preparing basic management reports
* Supporting year-end processes and liaising with external accountants
About You
* Previous experience in a bookkeeping or accounts assistant role
* Strong attention to detail and organisation skills
* Comfortable working independently and taking ownership
* Proficient with accounting software and Excel
* A proactive, can-do attitude with the ability to prioritise
* MUST HAVE AAT LEVEL 3 QUALIFICATON (this is a key requirement)
