This role focuses on the forming of aluminium heat-treated materials and requires a understanding of engineering standards, tight tolerances, and repeatable production processes. The position will suit a technically competent operator who is confident setting up, programming, and running brake press machinery independently. Key Responsibilities Set up, program, and operate brake press machines to form aluminium heat-treated aerospace components

Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and bend data accurately

Select appropriate tooling, back gauges, and forming sequences to meet dimensional and quality requirements

Develop, edit, and optimise press brake programs to ensure efficient and repeatable production

Carry out first-off inspections and ensure components meet aerospace quality standards

Support engineering and estimating teams with costing and feasibility input during quotation stages

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to reduce scrap, improve cycle times, and enhance forming methods
