Building Regulations Principal Designer Role - London - Renowned Architecture Studio

Principal Consultant @ White Space | Architecture & Design Specialist (London & UAE)

Building Regulations Principal Designer (BRPD)

We’re delighted to be recruiting for one of our long‑standing clients, a highly regarded architectural consultancy and genuinely great practice to work for. They’re known for their collaborative culture, high-quality work, and the way they support and develop their people. As the studio continues to grow, they’re now hiring for a Building Regulations Principal Designer (BRPD).

The BRPD role centres on planning, managing, coordinating and monitoring Building Regulations compliance and would suit a wide range of candidates. This could include experienced Technical Architects or Architectural Technologists, those from a design management or plans checking background, or candidates with experience delivering Principal Designer services under the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious construction professional to join a well‑respected consultancy at an exciting point of growth, with real scope to help shape a new service within the practice.

If you’re looking for a new role in a professional, friendly and supportive environment, and you have demonstrable experience leading and/or managing design development including Building Regulations compliance, then we’d love to hear from you.

Alongside a competitive salary, the practice offers an excellent benefits package, including:

  • Option to join the Simply Health scheme to reclaim medical costs
  • Hybrid working, plus up to 2 weeks of remote working
  • 23 days’ holiday + bank holidays, increasing to 25 days after 3 years
  • Workplace pension with 4.5% employer contribution
  • Enhanced family leave
  • Access to 1:1 independent pension advice
  • Permanent Health Insurance (up to 50% of salary)
  • Season ticket loan
  • Cycle to work scheme
  • A strong social culture, including an annual study trip, summer & Christmas parties, charity fundraising events
  • Design Away Day (London)
  • And yes, they are dog‑friendly offices
