We are working with an established M&E engineering company seeking a Building Services Estimator to join its preconstruction team. The role involves preparing accurate mechanical and electrical cost estimates for major projects across rail, commercial and industrial sectors. This position offers involvement in technically challenging work within a stable and well regarded business delivering projects across the UK. Company Profile The client is an established M&E Engineering company based in the London are who cover a wide range of large scale rail, commercial and industrial based projects. Some of the notable projects that the client works on include the Houses of Parliament and Heathrow Airport. The Role Prepare detailed and competitive mechanical and electrical estimates Produce accurate take offs and cost plans from tender documentation Manage supply chain enquiries and assess subcontractor and supplier quotations Identify commercial risks and opportunities within tender submissions Support tender strategy and attend settlement meetings Maintain estimating data and contribute to process improvement Requirements Experience as an M&E or Building Services Estimator Background working on rail, commercial or industrial projects Strong understanding of RMM and NRM measurement methods Experience reviewing and analysing subcontractor pricing Competent using estimating software including Amtech and the Microsoft 365 suite If this role does seem of interest, please feel free to apply or contact Adam on the details attached.
