Assistant Building Surveyor
who is within 612 months of sitting their APC. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic and growing organisation offering exposure to a diverse commercial portfolio and strong support towards achieving MRICS status.
The Role You will support the acquisition and ongoing management of a varied commercial property portfolio, working closely with senior surveyors and asset managers. The role offers hands-on experience across key sectors including industrial, retail, and office.
Whats on Offer £40,000and benefits package Full APC support and mentorship Exposure to a broad, high-quality commercial portfolio Opportunity to work client-side withno fee targets Clear career progression within an internationally active organisation Key Responsibilities Assist in the acquisition of commercial properties, including due diligence and technical assessments Support the management of an existing portfolio, ensuring assets are maintained and compliant Undertake inspections, prepare reports, and advise on defects, maintenance, and refurbishment Assist with contract administration and project delivery Provide professional advice across a range of building surveying services including RCA's, TDD and Dilapidations Liaise with external consultants, contractors, and stakeholders About You Degree-qualified in Building Surveying Currently working towards APC, with approximately 612 months remaining Experience within commercial property (industrial, retail, or office preferred) Strong technical knowledge and report writing skills Proactive, organised, and eager to progress within a client-side environmennt
