A global real estate consultancy is seeking a Building Surveyor to join their London team. This Building Surveyor opportunity offers exposure to a broad mix of professional and project based building surveying work across commercial property portfolios. The Building Surveyor will work with a range of established clients delivering building surveying advice across office, industrial, retail and residential assets. This Building Surveyor role provides the opportunity to develop technical capability while working within a collaborative consultancy environment. The Building Surveyor will be based within a London office supporting a multi disciplinary delivery team.

The Company?
The successful Building Surveyor will join an established property consultancy providing advisory and building surveying services to a wide client base. The business delivers work across commercial, industrial, retail and residential property sectors. The Building Surveyor will work alongside experienced surveyors and consultants delivering both project and professional instructions.

The Role
As the Building Surveyor you will provide a mix of professional and project related building surveying services across a range of property assets.

The role will include:
* Contract administration of small and large scale projects
* Project management and project monitoring
* Undertaking building surveys across a range of property types
* Technical due diligence for acquisitions and disposals
* Party wall matters
* Preparation of planned maintenance schedules

The Building Surveyor?
You will be a motivated individual with experience delivering building surveying services within a consultancy or property environment. Applications from candidates without relevant building surveying experience will not be considered.

The Building Surveyor must have:
* Degree in Building Surveying or a related property discipline
* MRICS qualified
* Experience working with commercial property including offices, industrial and retail assets
* Experience operating within a multi disciplinary surveying environment
* Ability to manage client relationships and support business development activity
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
