The Role
As a Building Surveyor, you will play a key role in delivering a high-quality responsive repairs and maintenance service. Youll work closely with internal teams, contractors, and residents to ensure works are carried out efficiently, safely, and to a high standard.
Key responsibilities include:
Carrying out property inspections and diagnosing building defects
Managing day-to-day responsive repairs and maintenance works
Preparing specifications of work and overseeing contractors on site
Ensuring compliance with health and safety and relevant regulations
Supporting customer-focused service delivery, ensuring a positive tenant experience
Working collaboratively with housing and maintenance teams
Monitoring performance, quality, and value for money
About You

You will have:
A recognised qualification in Building Surveying or equivalent
Experience within social housing, repairs, and maintenance
Strong knowledge of building pathology and defect diagnosis
Experience managing contractors and overseeing works
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
