About The Role

Are you looking for a new challenge and a role that allows you to build relationships and make a real difference in people's lives?

We are seeking a Building Surveyor to join our Property and Asset Management Team. The role involves delivering high-quality, customer-focused repairs, planned and reactive maintenance, and project delivery. Work ranges from small-scale repairs to designing and delivering new facilities, often as part of a larger design team.

This is a permanent position.

The Property and Asset team manages maintenance and management services for approximately 900 assets, including commercial, investment, and office properties. The department works closely with council colleagues, partner organizations, and contractors. Our properties range from 5 to 150 years old, presenting ongoing professional challenges to incorporate the latest technology and legislation.

The role offers hybrid working arrangements, including working from the corporate office, site visits, and flexible home working where appropriate.
