SR2 is supporting a long-term government programme within the UK Intelligence Community (UKIC), and we’re looking for a hybrid Business Analyst / Project Manager to help drive complex project delivery and strategic change across a sensitive, mission-critical environment.
This role blends business analysis and project delivery — you'll be scoping requirements, managing timelines, liaising with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and ensuring solutions land effectively in high-security environments.
The Details:
- Rate: £600-£650 p/d (Outside IR35)
- Duration: 6 months (initial) with strong extension potential
- Location: On-site in Cheltenham or Central London (Hybrid possible depending on client need)
- Clearance:UKIC DV Clearance essential
- Work within a high-impact mission area supporting security
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage stakeholders across UKIC departments to capture business needs and define clear, actionable requirements
- Translate strategic goals into delivery roadmaps, prioritising tasks and identifying blockers
- Own delivery plans, reporting progress and risks to senior leadership
- Manage dependencies across technical and non-technical teams
- Bridge the gap between business units and engineering/delivery squads
- Drive outcomes in agile or hybrid environments with a pragmatic delivery mindset
- Ensure documentation, decision logs, and governance processes meet UKIC expectations
- Operate with discretion and professionalism in a highly sensitive context
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- UKIC DV Cleared — active clearance required
- Strong background in business analysis and/or project management roles
- Excellent communicator, able to distil complexity and manage competing priorities
- Experience delivering in secure, government, or defence environments
- Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery methodologies
- Proven ability to manage stakeholders at all levels, from analysts to programme directors
- Strong documentation, planning, and risk mitigation skillst
