Job Description

We are on the lookout for a Business Development Coordinator to join Candy Hero, a successful wholesale confectionery and snack distributor.This isa new position at Candy Hero, meaningthe successful candidatewill have a great opportunity to help define the role and have the freedom to use their creative flare and initiative to get the desired results. Alongside building and nurturing current customer relationships, the new candidate willcanvas for new business andimprove brand awareness both in the UK and abroad.

Full marketing support, samples and existing leads will be provided.

The successful candidate will have:

• Full UK driving license and their own transport
• Good standard of presentation skills
• Strong communicator with great interpersonal and customer service skills
• Self-motivated, committed and enjoy working independently
• Speak fluent English and able to communicate clearly with foreign English-speakers.
• Take pride in the accuracy of their work
• Be flexible and hard working

This role will require a combination of working from home, on site at the business warehouses/offices, at meetings, and on the road, visiting new and potentional customers.

Description of Duties

Duties will include but are not limited to the following:

• Find and establish relationships with new customers to achieve sales targets
• Nurturing current customer accounts with an aim to improve sales and customer satisfaction
• Improve the distribution of critical and key lines, as required by the company
• Build brand awareness of Candy Hero, both within the UK and abroad
• Feed back into the supply chain, providing valued customer product and range insight
• Attend local and international trade shows to meet with current and potential customers
• Liase with all company departments to ensure customer expectations are met
• Work alongside the marketing team to provide an exciting and unified approach that resonates with the target audience

Working Hours

• 40 hours per week, flexible hours.
