Business Development Director Location: London (Hybrid: 2 days per week at the London Wall office / Tuesdays and Thursdays). This role requires regular travel to meet clients & partners in person. About the Role You’ll be responsible for winning new business and expanding our presence across 3 Nordic countries (Sweden, Norway and Iceland), leading complex, multi‑stakeholder sales cycles—often engaging directly with C‑suite executives. Key Responsibilities
Own the full sales cycle—from proactive prospecting through to close, with a strong focus on new logo acquisition. Maintain accurate pipeline forecasts and reporting in Salesforce. Drive regular face‑to‑face engagement (10 F2F meetings/month). Use MEDDPICC and Value Pyramid to deeply understand customer needs and align solutions. Partner cross‑functionally with Product, Solution Consulting, and Technical teams to close complex deals. Develop and execute a strategic territory plan to drive long‑term growth. Collaborate with market planning, marketing, regulators, and external partners to drive strategic initiatives. Work with account management teams to close cross‑sell opportunities. Leverage tools such as Gong and Lusha to drive effective prospecting, pipeline management, and deal execution.
Requirements
5+ years of experience in business development or enterprise solution sales, ideally within financial crime, fraud, identity, or compliance. Fluent English required; additional Nordic language skills advantageous. Proven track record of exceeding ACV targets in a complex, solution‑based sales environment. Strong expertise in the MEDDPICC framework, managing complex opportunities with multiple stakeholders. Previous experience in banking, fintech or regtech. Excellent communication, negotiation and networking skills.
