Are you an experienced labels sales professional with strong technical knowledge of wet glue and flexo labels? Do you want to join a stable, growing business that invests in its people and technology?
This well-established and highly respected manufacturer of wet glue and flexographic labels supplies high-quality solutions to leading names in the food and beverage sector. With state-of-the-art production facilities, excellent employee retention, and consistent year-on-year growth, the business is now looking to strengthen its commercial team with a driven Business Development Manager.
The Role
Reporting into senior management, you will play a key role in driving growth across the UK & Ireland, with a strong focus on new business development.
Key responsibilities include:
Identifying, targeting, and developing new business opportunities within the food and drink sector
Building and nurturing long-term relationships with new and selected existing customers
Providing expert technical advice on wet glue and flexographic label solutions
Producing accurate job estimates using a bespoke internal system (full training provided)
Working remotely with regular customer visits and occasional travel to the company site
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Proven experience selling labels, ideally with strong exposure to wet glue labels
Solid technical understanding of print production and labelling solutions
A self-motivated, results-driven approach with the ability to manage your own sales pipeline
Willingness to travel extensively across the UK & Ireland
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
