The Role: Business Development Manager
As a key figure in the business development team, you'll be instrumental in identifying new opportunities and nurturing strategic relationships across the apprenticeship and skills landscape.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Driving new business growth with training providers, colleges, and employer partners
- Promoting the organisation's EPA and AO services using a consultative, value-driven approach
- Building and maintaining meaningful relationships with clients across the FE and skills sector
- Collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and delivery
- Providing insights through market research, trend analysis, and competitor mapping
- Representing the organisation at virtual and in-person sector events (where required)
The Ideal Candidate
You're a confident communicator, a strategic thinker, and someone who understands what quality looks like in End Point Assessment.
You ll need to bring:
- Experience within an End Point Assessment Organisation or Awarding Body (essential)
- A deep understanding of the apprenticeship sector, funding, and regulation (Ofqual, IfATE, etc.)
- Proven success in business development, employer engagement, or a similar role
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to tailor your message for a variety of stakeholders
- Self-motivation and resilience, able to work remotely while hitting growth targets
