Seeking a highly commercial Business Development Manager to join renowned, high-end events and wedding venue in the Buckinghamshire / Hertfordshire area. Set within stunning grounds and offering luxury accommodation for guests.
The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive sales professional to play a key role in driving revenue growth and strengthening the venues reputation as a market leader.
Reporting to the Snr BDM
Responsible for generating new business opportunities while nurturing existing client relationships. Work with high level corporate clients, event agencies and private customers.
Key Responsibilities Proactively identify and secure new business opportunities across weddings, corporate events, and private functions, business summits, top level AGMs.
Key account management of top tier Fortune 500 companies
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, agencies and key partners
Conduct venue showrounds and present tailored event solutions
Develop and implementsales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets
Attend networking events, exhibitions, and industry showcases
Collaborate closely with the events and operations teams to ensure seamless delivery
Maintain accurate records and pipeline reporting using CRM systems
Lead on strategic partnerships and high-value accounts
Contribute to pricing strategy and revenue planning
About You
Proven experience in business development targeting new area specifically, Tier 1 blue chip companies, post graduate education,business summits and top level AGMs
Strong commercial awareness and a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
A natural relationship builder with a proactive approach
Demonstrable experience contracting key accounts and leading sales initiatives
Strategic mindset with leadership capability
