They are growing their team and are looking for a proven Business Development Manager with a technical engineering / technical sales background to help drive the companys global presence.

Business Development Manager Salary and Benefits
Salary £45,000 - £55,000
Performance related bonus
Company car or car allowance
Hybrid working typically three days in the office per week
Excellent employer pension
Half day finish on Fridays
Business Development Manager Essential Candidate Experience
Proven, demonstrable background in technical engineering, industrial equipment, instrumentation or testing equipment / testing solutions.
Business to Business, Technical Sales / Engineering-led background.
The ability to understand and discuss complex technical engineering solutions is essential.
Commercially astute, with solid negotiation skills.
Flexible with some travel this will mainly be across the UK, with the odd European or International trip.
Desirable but highly advantageous: experience in Turbomachinery, Aerospace, Defence, Power Generation, Automotive Testing, Couplings, Driveline Systems or Dynamometers.
Business Development Manager Key Responsibilities (but not limited to)
The Business Development Manager will drive new business, effectively manage and grow key customer accounts, building strong relationships with engineering and management teams.
Collaborate with internal engineering/project teams to define requirements and deliver tailored technical solutions.
Prepare and manage commercial offers, tenders, and technical proposals.
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings.
Provide market insights to guide product development, strategy, and identify new opportunities.
