Worcester (Office Based with travel) THE COMPANY: Red Rock are working with a global manufacturer and supplier within the construction sector.
This is a family-run business with a strong culture centred around teamwork, integrity and innovation. With operations across Europe, The Americas and beyond, alongside international branches, the company is experiencing exciting growth and expansion. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving the growth of the companys project-based business, working across the full construction lifecycle from specification through to completion. Working hours are Monday to Friday (8am
5pm), based at the Worcester headquarters, with travel required for meetings, site visits, and industry events. BENEFITS: 23 days holiday + bank holidays Paid day off on your birthday Private medical insurance Quarterly profit-share bonus scheme Breakfast and refreshments provided Eye care voucher scheme On-site parking DUTIES: Identifying, developing, and securing new project opportunities within the construction and specification market Building and maintaining strong relationships with contractors, architects, specifiers, and distributors Managing the full business development lifecycle from lead generation to project completion Developing and maintaining a strong project pipeline with accurate forecasting Promoting products and solutions through meetings, presentations, and site visits Collaborating with internal teams including Commercial, Technical, Marketing, and Operations Gathering market intelligence, competitor insights, and industry trends Supporting the creation of project proposals, quotations, and technical documentation Ensuring customer needs are understood and delivering tailored solutions Maintaining accurate CRM records and reporting on pipeline activity Representing the business at industry events, exhibitions, and networking opportunities Driving continuous improvement through feedback on products and market needs REQUIREMENTS: Proven experience in business development or sales is essential, ideally within a project-based or specification-led environment. We are looking for a motivated individual with a hunter mindset, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
