Fresh People are partnering with a well-established, independent accountancy and advisory firm in East Kent, recognised for delivering high-quality services across audit, tax, corporate finance, and business advisory.
As part of continued growth, they are now looking to appoint a Business Development Manager to work closely with the M&A and Client Services Manager, supporting the firms expansion strategy and strengthening its client base.
This is a highly visible, commercially focused role where you will play a key part in identifying opportunities, winning new business, and developing long-term client relationships.

What Youll Be Doing
Identify and develop new business opportunities across target sectors
Build and manage a pipeline of prospective clients
Develop relationships with:
Business owners
SMEs
Professional introducers (lawyers, banks, IFAs)
Work closely with the M&A team to support deal origination and pipeline development
Engage with existing clients to identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities
Represent the firm at networking events, industry forums, and client meetings
Support proposal development and pitch presentations
Track and report on business development activity and pipeline
What Were Looking For
Proven experience in a Business Development, Sales, or Relationship Management role
Background within:
Professional services (accountancy, legal, corporate finance) OR
B2B relationship-led environments
Strong network and ability to build relationships at senior level
Commercially driven with a track record of generating opportunities
Excellent communication and influencing skills
Self-starter with a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset
