Multi-Modal Freight (Air / Sea / Road) South of England | Remote with regular visits to Feltham or Kent

£50,000£65,000 + Car / Allowance + Uncapped Commission + Benefits An established and growing

multi-modal freight forwarding business

is seeking an experienced

Business Development Manager

to develop revenue across

air, ocean and road freight , with a strong focus on

temperature-controlled logistics . This is a

senior, autonomous role

combining

management and growth of a substantial existing client base

alongside

new business development, reporting to the Commercial Director and managing one internal sales person. The Role

Grow and develop a

large existing portfolio of client accounts across the UK

Identify and win

new business opportunities

across air, sea and road freight

Sell temperature-controlled logistics solutions (pharma, food, perishables)

Manage the full sales cycle from opportunity through onboarding

Build long-term, profitable customer relationships

Attend business visits - new, review, existing

Creating and converting quotations

Competitor analysis

Commission

Year 1: 10% Gross Profit

Year 2: 4% Gross Profit

Year 3: 1% Gross Profit

Target GP: c.4x base salary

Experience Required

Minimum 5 years sales experience in

freight forwarding

Strong knowledge of

air, sea and road freight

Proven ability to grow existing accounts and win new business

Existing industry contacts preferred

CargoWise experience beneficial
