Vintage Stone Capital is an operationally focused private investment firm based in the Northeast. We acquire and modernize legacy industrial businesses specifically in the Industrial Services and Waste Management sectors. We are not financial engineers; we are builders who partner with owners to unlock value through operational excellence and technology.


About the role

We are hiring a phone-first Sales Development Representative to support our outbound origination efforts. You will call US business owners from a provided target list and generate qualified interest for introductory conversations. This role is performance-driven, process-oriented, and measured on qualified outcomes.


Key responsibilities

Conduct outbound calling to business owners and senior decision-makers in the United States

Deliver a structured introduction, qualify interest, and schedule introductory meetings

Document call outcomes, notes, and next steps with high accuracy in HubSpot

Follow internal guidelines for confidentiality, data handling, and call compliance

Maintain disciplined follow-up sequences to maximize conversion and show rates

Participate in coaching, QA reviews, and ongoing performance management


Performance expectations

Success in this role is measured by:

Decision-maker conversations

Qualified leads generated (owners open to an acquisition discussion)

Intro meetings scheduled and held

Data quality and process adherence


Required qualifications

2+ years of phone-heavy outbound experience (SDR, appointment setting, inside sales, lead generation)

Professional presence on the phone

Ability to handle objections calmly and stay structured under pressure

Strong administrative discipline: accurate notes, dispositions, and follow-up tracking

Reliable internet, quiet workspace, and backup plan for power and connectivity

Ability to work consistent hours with US market overlap


Preferred qualifications

Experience calling into the US market

Experience engaging founders, owners, or executives

Familiarity with recorded-call QA environments and KPI-based management
