We're Hiring: Business Therapy Manager | Full-Time | Altrincham

A respected private mental health hospital in Altrincham is seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Therapy Manager to lead the operational and strategic direction of its therapy services. This is a full-time position (37.5 hours per week), ideal for someone with strong leadership skills, commercial acumen, and a passion for service development.

About the Hospital

The site offers specialist inpatient care across three dedicated units, supporting adults with a range of mental health conditions and addictions. It also provides well-established outpatient treatment for conditions such as depression, anxiety, OCD, PTSD, phobias, and bipolar disorder, alongside private autism assessments for adults.

The team is committed to delivering high-quality, evidence-based care in a supportive and structured environment.

About the Role

As Business Therapy Manager, you’ll be a core member of the leadership team — driving performance, guiding strategy, and ensuring the delivery of safe, effective, and responsive therapy services. While this is a non-clinical role, your impact will be central to maintaining quality care and driving growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day leadership for the therapy department
  • Ensure robust clinical governance and compliance with all relevant standards
  • Take ownership of budget planning and financial performance for therapy services
  • Identify opportunities to expand and improve therapy offerings
  • Monitor and report on performance metrics, audits, and KPIs
  • Promote a collaborative, positive team culture focused on development and outcomes

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in a healthcare management or senior leadership role
  • In-depth knowledge of statutory regulations and clinical governance
  • Commercial awareness and ability to manage cost vs. income performance
  • Proven track record in service development and innovation
  • Strong leadership, team-building, and communication skills

What You'll Receive

  • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
  • An extra day off for your birthday
  • Enhanced maternity pay
  • Free on-site parking
  • Subsidised meals during shifts
  • Contributory pension scheme
  • Flexible benefits including discounted gym memberships, IT equipment, and a healthcare cash plan
  • Access to funded professional development opportunities
  • Clear progression pathways into senior leadership roles

If this sounds like the right fit for you, we’d love to hear from you.
