Established Buyer – Swim & Beachwear


We are looking for an Established Buyer to take full ownership of the Swim & Beachwear category. This pivotal role spans the full product lifecycle -from strategy through to launch - developing collections that are trend-led, commercially successful, and aligned with our playful, lifestyle-driven brand identity.


You’ll collaborate closely with design, merchandising, marketing, and suppliers to deliver innovative ranges that excite our customer while meeting quality, margin, and delivery objectives.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead seasonal buying and product development strategy for Swim & Beachwear.
  • Build collections that balance creativity with commerciality, achieving financial targets and brand positioning.
  • Analyse sales performance and market trends to guide option counts, pricing, and range mix.
  • Identify opportunities for new product development, fabrications, and category expansion.
  • Negotiate cost prices, terms, and lead times to optimise margin and competitiveness.
  • Drive sourcing strategy, exploring new factories, regions, and sustainable manufacturing partners.
  • Ensure all products meet brand standards for quality, compliance, and ethical sourcing.
  • Own the category critical path, ensuring sample stages and launch timelines are achieved.
  • Manage fit sessions and approvals in partnership with Garment Technology.
  • Oversee corrective actions on quality, returns, or faults, implementing cross-functional improvements.
  • Partner with design and marketing to deliver cohesive, trend-led, campaign-ready collections.
  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, fostering innovation and collaboration.
  • Support progress in sustainability, fabric innovation, and ethical sourcing.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members as the category grows.


Skills & Experience

  • Proven buying/product development experience within Swimwear, Beachwear, or adjacent fashion categories.
  • Strong commercial acumen with a track record of category growth.
  • Skilled in supplier negotiation, sourcing strategy, and margin optimisation.
  • Experience managing high option counts and complex critical paths.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for trend-led product, with an interest in sustainability, fabric innovation, and lifestyle fashion.
  • You must have the legal right to work in the UK.


5 days per week until successful completion of probation, after which hybrid working is available.
