About the Role An established engineering business with a £10M turnover is looking for a talented Buyer to join their procurement team. This is a varied and fast-paced role, working across multiple commodities, managing supplier relationships, and supporting both day-to-day and project-based purchasing. You will also provide occasional administrative support, including generating sales orders, to ensure smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities: Manage purchasing across a variety of goods, materials, and services

Negotiate with suppliers to achieve the best price, quality, and delivery terms

Build and maintain effective supplier relationships

Support project-related buying activities from quotation through to delivery

Monitor supplier performance and address any issues

Assist with admin tasks such as processing sales orders and maintaining accurate records
