This is a fantastic opportunity for someone in their second role or a motivated graduate eager to build hands-on experience across design, customer interaction, and project coordination.
The Role
This is a varied, office-based position where you’ll play a key role in supporting the design and administrative functions of the business. You’ll work closely with the sales team and customers to bring tailored furniture solutions to life, from concept through to installation.
This role offers real scope for progression and would suit someone proactive, adaptable, and keen to grow within a business.
Key Responsibilities
* Produce detailed technical drawings and renders using CAD software
* Prepare accurate estimates based on design specifications
* Work collaboratively with the sales team to convert designs into confirmed orders
* Communicate with customers via phone and email to manage queries and design updates
* Conduct showroom appointments, understanding customer needs and offering design solutions
* Maintain high attention to detail to ensure accuracy and avoid errors
* Support internal processes and suggest improvements where possible
* Assist with general administrative tasks and liaise with warehouse teams when required
Requirements
* Previous experience using CAD software (ArtiCAD or similar preferred)
* Strong spatial awareness and technical design ability
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Highly organised with strong time management
* Proactive, adaptable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
* Keen to learn new systems (full training provided on specialist software)
* Interest in interior design, furniture, or space optimisation is advantageous
