An opportunity has arisen for a CAD Technician to join a well‑established CAD department within a leading organisation in the washroom solutions sector. They are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual with a strong work ethic and commitment to precision. Your New Role
As a CAD Technician, you will be responsible for producing accurate and detailed technical drawings to support a wide variety of customer projects. You will ideally be proficient in AutoCAD or 2D CAD software and able to work with a high level of accuracy while meeting strict deadlines.Working in a precise, customer‑focused team, you will adopt a flexible approach to your workload and be committed to achieving daily targets while maintaining high standards in both customer service and technical delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Liaising with customers to agree design details
Preparing and revising CAD layout drawings
Using data‑entry software to generate production documentation
Planning and managing multiple projects simultaneously
Providing technical support to customers and colleagues
Responding to customer queries in line with Customer Service Standards
What You'll Need to Succeed
Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail
Knowledge of AutoCAD or similar 2D CAD software
Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
A methodical and structured approach to tasks
Strong telephone manner with confident communication skills
Ability to produce professional, grammatically correct correspondence
A positive, solution‑focused attitude toward challenges
