Café & Kitchen
located near the centre of Salisbury is recruiting an experienced Chef to join their friendly team. You will support the kitchen on busy days and have the opportunity to run the kitchen during periods of absence. This is an excellent role for a chef who enjoys daytime hours, a relaxed service style, and a great work-life balance.
About the Role
Café-style menu including: All-day breakfasts Sandwiches Simple, freshly prepared lunches Shifts: No evenings Mixed daytime shifts between 8am-6pm 40 hours per week Flexible days off
Main Duties & Responsibilities
Prepare, cook, and present food to the required standards Maintain high levels of cleanliness and organisation in all working areas Support, supervise, and motivate the kitchen team Comply with all food safety and health & safety regulations Assist with stock control, ordering, and portion control
What We're Looking For
Previous experience in a similar café, restaurant, or daytime kitchen role Basic Food Hygiene Certificate Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to work well under pressure during peak times
