Double Days (Early & Late Rotation) Job Role:
As a Calibration Engineer, you will be responsible for the calibration, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of instrumentation and measurement equipment. Working within a fast-paced engineering environment, you will ensure all equipment meets strict quality and compliance standards. This role requires a strong attention to detail, a methodical approach, and a commitment to maintaining high levels of accuracy across all calibration processes. Sector:
Engineering / Manufacturing Non-Negotiable Requirements: Proven experience in calibration of electrical, mechanical, or process instrumentation Strong understanding of calibration standards and procedures Relevant engineering qualification (Apprenticeship, NVQ, HNC, or equivalent) Ability to work double days shift pattern Requirements: Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Good communication skills and ability to work independently or within a team Desirable Requirements: Experience with UKAS calibration standards Knowledge of quality systems such as ISO 9001 Background in electronics or instrumentation engineering Utilities experience (steam, air, water systems etc.) Mechanical and electrical maintenance skills Benefits: Competitive salary of £44,000 Double days shift offering work-life balance Pension scheme Ongoing training and development Opportunity to work within a well-established and growing business If you are interested in this role and feel that you have the right skills, then please click apply at the bottom of this advert.
