Customer Engagement & Sales
Greet customers and provide a warm, professional introduction to products and services.
Identify customer needs and present suitable vehicle models, specifications, and finance options.
Conduct vehicle demonstrations, test drives, and product presentations.
Negotiate sales terms, pricing, and part-exchange valuations in line with dealership policies.
Manage the complete sales process from initial enquiry to vehicle handover.
Product & Brand Knowledge
Maintain strong knowledge of vehicles, features, technology, and benefits.
Stay up to date with model updates, new releases, and marketing campaigns.
Communicate technical information clearly and confidently to customers.
Customer Relationship Management
Build and maintain long-term customer relationships to encourage repeat business.
Follow up leads promptly via phone, email, and in-person communication.
Keep CRM systems updated with customer interactions, leads, and progress.
Sales Administration Support
Work closely with the Sales Administration team to ensure accurate and compliant paperwork.
Assist in collecting required customer documentation (ID, proof of address, etc.).
Ensure all finance proposals and agreements are handled in line with regulatory guidelines.
Dealership & Team Support
Maintain showroom and vehicle display standards in line with brand guidelines.
Participate in promotional events, product launches, and customer handover ceremonies.
Collaborate with colleagues across sales, service, and management teams.
Skills & Experience
Essential
Proven experience in a customer-facing sales role (automotive preferred but not required).
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Confident, enthusiastic, and able to build rapport quickly.
Good IT skills, including CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
Full UK driving licence.
Desirable
Previous experience as a Car Sales Executive within a franchised dealership.
Knowledge of automotive products and the wider market.
Understanding of regulatory requirements and finance processes.
