Healthcare Assistant – Complex Care (Watford)
£15.20 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay)
Day/Night shifts available

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Healthcare Assistant to support our young client in Watford who requires support at school. Your care will enable them to live safely, confidently, and with dignity in their own home.
This is a meaningful 1:1 role where you can genuinely see the impact of the support you provide.
About the Client
Our client is a young child who lives with their family. Our client enjoys her tablet and her phone, connecting with her friends. She likes to play games on her tablet with her brother at home.
Clinical Requirements
You will support the client with the specific clinical tasks outlined in their care plan. These may include:
• Tracheostomy Care
• Tracheal Suction
• Medication via a Gastrostomy
• Nebuliser
• Button Gastrostomy Care
Full specialist training and competency sign-off are provided by our Clinical Team, so you do not need to have every skill listed to apply.
Shifts Available
We offer consistent and predictable shifts to support your work–life balance and financial stability.
• Day shifts - 07:30 AM - 16:30 PM
• Night Shifts - 21:00 PM - 07:00 AM
What the Role Involves
• Delivering compassionate 1:1 care in the client’s home
• Supporting with community access and social activities
• Promoting independence and dignity in all tasks
• Providing emotional reassurance and wellbeing support
• Communicating effectively with the clinical, care, and coordination teams
Your presence will help the client feel safe, supported and in control of their daily routine.

• Experience supporting people with complex needs
• Confidence with clinical tasks (or a willingness to train)
• Strong communication and reliability
• Empathy, emotional intelligence and person-centred values
• Ability to work independently and professionally

Compliance Requirements
All roles are subject to enhanced DBS checks, reference checks, Right to Work verification and full CQC/Schedule 3-compliant onboarding.
Referral Bonus
• £150 for every Healthcare Assistant you refer
• £250 for every Registered Nurse you refer
Paid once your referral completes 150 hours.
