We are working in partnership with a well-regarded elderly care provider to recruit a Care Home Manager for a medium-sized residential care home supporting older people, including those living with dementia.

The home is performing well in terms of resident and family satisfaction, benefits from a strong private-pay profile, and is currently fully staffed, providing an excellent platform for the incoming manager to focus on leadership, quality, and culture rather than recruitment pressures.

Senior operational support is already in place, ensuring a smooth transition and ongoing guidance, while still allowing the successful candidate the autonomy to lead the service in line with their values and experience.

Who are we looking for?

We’re seeking an experienced, people-centred Registered Manager with a background in residential and/or dementia care.

You will be someone who:

• Leads with empathy, consistency, and clear expectations
• Is passionate about building positive, inclusive team cultures
• Has strong operational awareness and an understanding of quality and best practice
• Is confident managing a medium-sized home.
• Is motivated by long-term ownership and continuous improvement

This role will suit a manager who enjoys developing people, nurturing teams, and creating environments where residents and staff alike can thrive.

The home is based in Derbyshire and is commutable from:

Derby, Burton upon Trent, Nottingham, Loughborough, Long Eaton, Ilkeston, Castle Donington, Swadlincote, Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Coalville, Belper, Ripley, and Melbourne.
