Operations Manager / Quality Manager – Care Homes\n\nBerkshire & Buckinghamshire | Part-Time (3 Days/Week) | £50,000 Pro Rata\n\nOperations Manager Care Homes | Quality Manager Elderly Care | CQC Compliance | Governance | Multi-Site Care Home Role\n\nAre you an experienced care professional with strong knowledge of CQC compliance, quality assurance and care home governance?We are recruiting a Part-Time Operations Manager / Quality Manager to oversee Nursing and Residential Care Homes for the elderly across Berkshire and Buckinghamshire.\n\nThis position is ideal for someone looking to work 3 days per week while maintaining a meaningful leadership role shaping the quality and safety of multiple care homes.\n\n⭐ About the Role\n\nAs our Operations & Quality Manager, you will oversee compliance, audits, quality improvement and service performance across several homes. You will support Home Managers, ensure adherence to CQC standards, and drive continuous improvement across elderly care services.\n\nThis role involves multi-site support and is essential in helping the organisation maintain Good and Outstanding CQC ratings.\n\n Key Responsibilities\n\nComplete regular quality audits, compliance checks and governance reviews\n\nOversee CQC regulatory compliance, policies, risk management and action plans\n\nSupport Home Managers to deliver high-quality nursing and residential care\n\nMonitor and improve clinical and care standards across all homes\n\nReview incidents, complaints, safeguarding concerns and regulatory feedback\n\nLead on CQC inspection preparation, documentation and improvement plans\n\nEnsure robust governance systems are in place across multiple services\n\nPromote excellence in safeguarding, resident safety and quality of care\n\nProvide operational support to ensure smooth service delivery\n\n Requirements\n\nStrong experience in care home operations, quality management, auditing, or compliance\n\nKnowledge of Nursing and Residential Care Home environments\n\nExpertise in CQC regulations, quality assurance and elderly care standards\n\nAbility to audit services, analyse data, and drive quality improvements\n\nExcellent communication, leadership and coaching skills\n\nAbility to travel across Berkshire and Buckinghamshire\n\nNursing qualification (RGN/RMN/RNLD) – preferred but not essential\n\n Salary & Working Pattern\n\n£50,000 per year (pro rata)\n\n3 days per week\n\nMileage/travel support\n\nOngoing training and development\n\nSupportive management and organisational culture\n\n Location\n\nCovering multiple Nursing and Residential Care Homes across Berkshire and Buckinghamshire.
