Job Title: Care Manager/ Responsible Person Location: Chesterfield Working Hours: 40 hours Salary: IRO £40k
Mayfield Recruitment are currently looking for a Care Manager in the S40 area on a permanent basis. In this position, the Care Manager will need experience working in a senior position in a Childrens Residential Home and will be reporting to the registered Home Manager. The home cares for 8-18 years olds which prides itself on its homely and safe environment.
Responsibilities as the Care Manager: Managing the residential home on a day to day basis, ensuring it is compliant in meeting all relevant legislative and contractual requirements including the health and educational needs of young people. To have experience of working with Ofsted and their requirements. Ensure the protection and safeguard the wellbeing of the young people Interpreting and implementing changes in legislation relating to occupancy to ensure any enhanced requirements Supporting children and young people with moderate physical disabilities and additional complex needs. Identifying resourcing needs and the ongoing selection, training and development of staff Building and creating mutual trust and respect with young people in order that they respond and react appropriately to information and advice.
