Write, review, and update
high-quality, person-centred care and support plans
that clearly reflect individual needs, preferences, and outcomes
Ensure care plans are accurate, detailed, and compliant with CIW and organisational standards
Support care staff to understand and deliver care in line with each individuals care plan
Duty & Operational Support
Provide
duty cover on a rotational basis , supporting day-to-day operational issues
Act as a point of contact for care staff, clients, and families during duty periods
Respond effectively to issues, changes, or incidents, escalating appropriately where required
Compliance & Quality
Carry out
compliance-related tasks
for both staff and clients, including: Spot checks and quality monitoring
File and record checks
Supporting audits and inspections
Support safe recruitment and onboarding processes in line with policy
Contribute to maintaining accurate records and evidence for regulatory compliance
Leadership & Support
Act as a
role model
for Seren values and expected standards
Provide guidance, reassurance, and practical support to care staff
Work closely with the Care Manager to support service stability and quality
What Were Looking For Essential Skills
Experience working in social care (domiciliary or community care preferred)
Hold QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care (minimum)
Strong ability to write
clear, detailed, person-centred care plans
A
problem-solver
who can think calmly and practically under pressure
Excellent attention to detail and confidence working with records and systems
A
natural leader
who supports, motivates, and leads by example
Good communication skills with staff, clients, and professionals
Desirable
Previous experience in a senior carer, team leader, or supervisory role
Knowledge of CIW standards and compliance expectations
