Catastrophic Injury Solicitor – Associate / Senior Associate
A leading national catastrophic injury practice is launching an innovative flexible working programme designed to allow experienced lawyers to work across multiple catastrophic injury teams on a permanent, but flexible basis.
Salary & Benefits
Location: UK-Wide (Hybrid / Fully Remote)
Salary: Up to £60,000 plus full Associate benefits
Contract: Permanent with flexible hours and leave options
PQE: 3+

A flexible role within a thriving catastrophic injury team
Solicitors appointed under this programme will work on a wide range of complex, high‑value catastrophic injury claims, including cases involving brain injury, spinal trauma, amputations and fatal accidents.
The role involves internal secondments to different catastrophic injury teams across the firm, depending on business needs. This may include:
Leading or supporting multi‑track and catastrophic injury litigation
Assisting on major client matters and strategic projects
Providing cover for parental or long‑term leave
Working closely with Partners and teams nationwide
Throughout, solicitors remain permanent employees of the firm, retaining continuity, progression and full Associate‑level benefits.
What the Partners are looking for
Applicants should have:
Qualification as a Solicitor with at least 3 years’ PQE
Experience in serious or catastrophic injury litigation, on either a claimant or defendant basis
Strong drafting, analytical and evidential skills
Experience managing or assisting on high‑value (£500,000+) claims, or readiness to progress to that level
Flexibility and confidence to work across different teams and practice styles
