Chef de Partie

Our client is a high-end catering and events business based in Southeast London. They are highly experienced in luxury private and corporate events with an emphasis on exceptional food quality, presentation, and attention to detail. They are seeking an ambitious Chef de Partie to support the day-to-day operations of a busy production kitchen and assist with event delivery across London and beyond. This is a hands-on position suited to a passionate and motivated chef who is keen to learn, develop, and take increasing ownership of their own small events when ready. The role offers the opportunity to work alongside an experienced culinary team, develop skills within a supportive environment, and progress quickly as responsibility increases.
Location: London-based (primarily Camberwell, with travel across London and the Southeast as required)
Salary: £30,000£35,000 DOE (plus overtime, typically adding c. £8,000 per year)
Contract: Full-time, permanent
Hours: MondayFriday, 8:00am5:00pm (with occasional evening and event work)
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation and delivery of high-quality food for luxury events
Work across canapé, bowl food, and plated menu production as required
Support senior chefs in kitchen prep, event logistics, and service delivery
Maintain excellent standards of presentation, flavour, and consistency
Follow food hygiene, health & safety, and compliance procedures always
Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment
Represent the culinary team professionally when working on-site at events
What Were Looking For
Experience working in a busy kitchen environment (ideally within events or catering)
Previous experience at Chef de Partie level or ready to step up into the role
Passion for high-quality food and a desire to develop skills and progress
Strong teamwork and communication skills adaptable and reliable
Good understanding of food hygiene and health & safety practices
Positive, proactive, and hands-on approach
Hours, Pay & Benefits
