Live-In Chef Manager Stocks Hotel, Sark, Channel Islands Seasonal| Live-In | Luxury Boutique Hotel Seasonal Contract: 20 th March 2026 31 st October 2026 Hours: 54 hours/week, 6 days (1 day off) Salary: £2500 tax-free per month + contract completion bonus (£200/month) & share of tips Stocks Hotel is seeking a talented Live-In Chef Manager to lead our kitchen on the beautiful island of Sark. This is a unique opportunity to combine culinary excellence with sustainable, garden-to-table practices in a luxury hotel setting. Key Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality dishes from established menus, creating seasonal specials. Lead, train, and mentor kitchen staff with a calm, respectful approach. Utilise local and hotel-grown produce to promote sustainability and freshness. Maintain food safety, hygiene, and financial controls. Contribute positively to live-in team life while upholding professional standards. Enhance the guest dining experience through creativity and attention to detail. Requirements: Proven Head Chef / Chef Manager experience in high-end or boutique hotels. Strong leadership, organisation, and communication skills. Knowledge of seasonal, sustainable cooking and cost control. Food hygiene certification and familiarity with UK/Channel Islands regulations. Comfortable living and working in a remote island environment. Desirable: Experience with permaculture/kitchen gardens and live-in hospitality.
