As Chef Manager, you will play a key role in enhancing residents daily lives through exceptional food and service. You will lead the catering function, ensuring quality, compliance, and continuous improvement. Key responsibilities include: Leading and managing the catering team to deliver a high-quality, efficient service Recruiting, training, and developing team members to maintain high standards Planning innovative, nutritious menus tailored to residents needs and preferences Managing food ordering, stock control, and budgets effectively Ensuring excellent food presentation, portion control, and consistency Driving financial performance through cost control and operational efficiency Maintaining clear communication with both team members and residents Ensuring full compliance with food safety, COSHH, health & safety, and all relevant legislation Promoting a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement About You
We are looking for a proactive and inspiring leader who can motivate a team in a fast-paced environment while consistently delivering a 5-star dining experience. You will: Demonstrate strong leadership and people management skills Be confident in building trust and maintaining high standards Take initiative and drive innovation within the catering service Have a flexible and adaptable approach Essential/Desirable Requirements: City & Guilds 7061 or NVQ Level 2 in Catering (or equivalent) Ideally 4+ years experience as a Chef Manager or in a similar role Strong knowledge of food safety, compliance, and kitchen management Whats on Offer
