We are looking for an experienced Chef to join our friendly and professional team.As an integral member of the team, you will contribute to the provision of a quality catering service whilst adhering to health and safety standards. This is an excellent opportunity to join our Kitchen team. This is a busy role, supporting the preparation of meals for our Day and Boarding community using fresh and locally sourced ingredients. As a Chef, you will p repare meals following recipe specification on quantity, portion and quality in a timely manner taking guidance and instruction from the Head and Senior Chef on meal preparation, production and service. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a real passion for cooking with fresh locally sourced produce and will work positively with a professional team of Chefs, supporting and leading the junior members of the team.You will need to be organised, self-motivated and able to work well under pressure.You will possess a minimum Level 1 and Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering and have a good standard of literacy and numeracy.A City and Guilds 706/1, 706/2 or NVQ equivalent is desirable.
