Agency Chef – (Colchester, Essex) Competitive Hourly Rate | Weekly Pay | Flexible Shifts

We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Agency Chef to join our care home based a well-established care home known for its warm atmosphere and high standards of care.

Location: Colchester, Essex Start Date: Immediate Job Type: Temporary (with potential ongoing shifts) Shifts: Flexible – Days/Weekends

Key Responsibilities:

* Prepare and cook nutritious meals tailored to residents’ dietary needs.

* Maintain excellent hygiene and food safety standards.

* Work collaboratively with kitchen and care staff.

* Ensure all meals are served on time and to a high standard.

Requirements:

* Previous experience as a Chef in a care home, hospital, or similar setting.

* Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 3 preferred).

* DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply).

* Ability to adapt quickly in a busy kitchen environment.

* Good understanding of dietary requirements, including allergies and modified diets.
